Codemotion, the reference platform for the professional growth of developers and companies looking for the best IT talent, is looking for 50 new talents to be included in the Italian and Spanish offices to continue growing internationally and acquiring the necessary skills to strengthen its presence in the Spanish market: the recruitment strategy is one of the key actions the company is taking after the 8 million euro round completed at the beginning of 2023.
The new positions are mainly in the sales sector, but they also include IT resources such as front-end, back-end and data-architecture specialists, community managers, product specialists and content creators. The newcomers, with technical background and knowledge of the dev world, will join a dynamic and international team of over 50 people with offices in Rome, Milan, and Madrid and will work on enhancing the Codemotion community, promoting local and international events, and supporting the company’s new projects in Italy and Spain.
“One of Codemotion’s goals for 2023 is to make the company increasingly international by expanding the Spanish team alongside the Italian team with new hires: the goal is to reach one million active developers on the platform by 2025, becoming the European reference in the sector. To achieve this, we are looking for talents with skills in various fields: development, accounting, sales, product development, and community management. They will have the opportunity to participate in all our projects and to pursue an international career”, declares Chiara Russo, CEO and Co-Founder of Codemotion. “All of this will also be possible thanks to the funds we have raised over the years, especially the round completed at the beginning of this year: for Codemotion, it is the starting point for a path focused on exporting our model to new European markets”.
The recruitment strategy is part of Codemotion’s broader expansion project: with the 8 million euro capital increase, led at the beginning of 2023 by Sinergia Venture Fund in an investment round in which a selection of Italian and international partners, the company has raised a total funding of 15.5 million euros. These funds will be used, in parallel with the hiring of new talents, to further strengthen the platform by introducing new features aimed at meeting the needs of developers and companies.
The development of Codemotion Talent also continues: the service, launched in 2022, now has a pool of more than 5,000 developers looking for work. Codemotion Talent aims to revolutionize the hiring process of IT profiles, which are among the most difficult to select and retain, thanks to a machine learning algorithm that creates the “perfect match” between the career aspirations of professionals and the requests from companies. The service is supported by the presence of consultants who guide client companies and developers throughout the process. In fact, “Dev Talent Partners” and “Tech Recruiters” are also involved in the selection process: they are dedicated career consultants who help developers design their careers, and manage the relationship between developers and companies.
